Nimbus
An in-house concept for launching a new app — built around a single visual idea, not a feature list.
The Challenge
A new app has roughly three seconds of someone's scrolling attention to explain what it does and why it matters — a feature list rarely earns that attention on its own.
The Idea
Build the entire launch around one simple visual: a dot-grid "cloud" that stands in for the idea of Nimbus without needing an explanation, repeated consistently across every touchpoint.
Creative Direction
A deep navy backdrop with a teal dot-grid motif and a single oversized "N", designed to be instantly recognisable when scaled down to an app icon or up to a launch banner.
Execution
App store listing assets, an onboarding screen sequence, launch-week paid social creative, and a short product-demo video concept — all sharing the same dot-grid system.
Concept Outcome
The intended result is a launch asset checklist — store listing through day-one paid media — that a product team can move through in order rather than improvising each piece separately.
